Drucker Forum 2021 taking shape – Save the Date Nov. 17–19
|
Moving into 2021, we see good progress in the combat against the pandemic, with vaccination campaigns under way and a slowing of infections and hospitalizations in many parts of the world.
Yet there is no let-up of precautionary measures that may be with us for most of the year. We confirm that the 2021 Drucker Forum 2021 will take place on November 17–19 as a “virtual-first event”, i.e. it will be planned as a digital conference with provision for complementary in-person sessions in Vienna on November 18 and 19 that will be fully integrated into the online event as well. For now, the Forum is starting to take shape – see the first batch of speakers and link to the Forum theme below. We suggest saving the date from November 17 through 19 to allow for maximum choice, even though you may not attend every session. Please give us a first indication via our short survey. At a time of crisis and confusion, we will be taking a fresh look at Peter Drucker and his insights in a one-day conference in the run-up to the Forum. It will take place on June 30, preceded by afternoon workshops on June 29. Save the dates and stay tuned – more to follow in the coming weeks. Richard Straub and the Drucker Society Europe Team |

Defying concerns of online overload, the Drucker Forum 2020 drews up to 2500 concurrent participants (Zoom and livestream combined) for individual sessions. With a choice of more than 40 sessions in three days, there was ample opportunity to engage. Chat was extensively used to comment and ask questions during the sessions. Drawing on this experience, we believe that the full engagement option provides participants with the best possible value in 2021. Our short survey focuses exclusively on online participation. From the responses we will draw five winners of a free pass to the interactive Zoom-based event.
Please take two minutes to take part in our mini-survey. |
