Great Observation. I may add a condition for corporate life:

Being able to use and apply the full talent and continue to personally grow requires an operating environment that fosters (1) people engagement based on self-responsibility rather than motivation by leaders, coordination of work through self-organization rather than bureaucratic procedures, goal setting through broad goals rather than detailed performance targets, change through flexibility rather than standard operating procedures, and decision-making through collective intelligence rather than power. Management has a choice that requires careful reflection.
