Dear all Welcome to the Drucker Forum Community – launched by invitation in our December 2017 newsletter to those intending to join the Drucker Forum 2018. Also included are Alumni from previous Drucker Forums and members of the Drucker Society Europe and Austria. The Drucker Forum is more than a yearly event. We endeavour to a be virtual think tank and a global movement to improve the practice of management given its crucial importance for society overall. In his closing address at the Forum 2017 Charles Handy talked about exactly this community - speaking with a loud voice in their own sphere of influence and acting to keep the human values safe in organizations and institutions. Hence the purpose of these community letters is to provide you with information beyond the newsletters about our various initiatives as they evolve over the year and opportunities to engage (such as communication, membership, sponsorship, local events and special programs). For the all-important 10th Anniversary Forum your help in creating the early groundswell of attention that we can then amplify in the run-up to the event will be invaluable. To identify communication and posts on social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook) please use the universal hashtag #GPDF18. Our Leitmotiv "The Human Dimension" attracts great interest and enthusiasm.
