Under the 2G+ rule, you need to be fully vaccinated or
be recovered from Covid 19 AND PCR tested
(no older than 48h – the date of the test is valid,
not the date of the result) to enter the Forum!
Access to accommodation is possible with proof of full vaccination or past infection,
no PCR test necessary.
For the convenience and comfort of our participants, we have organized private testing facilities on-site at the event venue.
PCR TESTING STATION IN HOTEL HILTON
Nov 17: 16:30 – 19:30 (CET): Hotel Hilton, foyer of Grand Park Hall, ground floor
Nov 18: 07:00 – 09:00 (CET): Hotel Hilton, foyer of Grand Park Hall, ground floor
You will receive your result by email about 5-6 hours after testing.
Please note that the PCR test must be valid from November 18, 12:00 till November 19, 18:00.
IMPORTANT:
Test on Nov 17 in the morning then you get a valid test result for Nov 18.
Test on Nov 17 in the evening or on Nov 18 by 8:45 to get a valid test result for Nov 19.
We recommend that you take first PCR test before departure.
3 PCR Testing facilities in Vienna
1. PCR gargle test

- Register and get your barcode
- We will provide a certain number of test kits in Hotel Hilton at the COVID Counter of the Forum in foyer of Grand Park Hall or you pick up your free-of-charge test kit (maximum 8 test kits in one go) at any BIPA outlet in Vienna.
- Log in to lead-horizon.org/public by entering your sample number. Follow the instructions and perform the test by gargling or rinsing your mouth.
- Follow the instructions of the WebApp and perform the test. Hand in your PCR gargle test Nov 17 by 08:45, Nov 18 by 08:45 at the COVID Counter of the Forum in foyer Grand Park Hall.
- You will receive your result via email within a period of 24 hours if you hand in your sample before 9 a.m.
2. Testing Lane Stubentor:
This testing lane is located near by Hotel Hilton at the Aula der Wissenschaften. It is free of charge! It can take up to 24 hours until the test result is available.
Appointment reservations and a one-time registration for each person are required, either online (https://app.wien.gv.at/covidregistrierung/testlocation/COV17).

Vaccinated people:
Under the 2-G rule, you need to be fully vaccinated (two doses). A full vaccination is valid for the 2-G rule for a total of 9 months from the day you received your 2nd dose.
For persons vaccinating for the first time on or after Nov. 8, 2021, 2G applies for four weeks in combination with a negative PCR test no older than 48 hours.
If the vaccine you received requires no booster shot (e.g. Johnson & Johnson), the first vaccination is valid for the 2G rule from the 22nd day after the vaccination for a total of 270 days.
If you have recovered from Covid-19 and received your first vaccination, you are in the 2G group for 12 months from the day of vaccination.
The following vaccines (including mix-and-match vaccines) are recognised:
- BioNtech/Pfizer
- AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria and Covishield)
- Johnson & Johnson
- Moderna
Recovered people:
If you have recovered from Covid-19, you do not have to test for the virus for six months from the end of the infection. You need your quarantine order or a medical certificate from your doctor to prove you have recovered from the infection. A positive test for antibodies neutralising the virus is valid for three months from the date of testing.
