Statement by
«Leadership and Successful Strategy Implementation – How to Align People to your Strategy»
Angelika Bergmann (BE)
Presentation

Executive Director, Management Centre Europe (MCE)

Key Questions
1 The personal behaviour of leaders is important in influencing how people
think and act, but it is not the only influence – there are at least five other
dimensions of influence that leaders and change agents must manage.

2 The leadership and people practices in the organization must support the strategic direction of the organization, not be a copy-pasted “best practice” from a different organization with a different strategy.

3 The various people policies, practices and systems must be congruent with each other in order to provide a consistent message to the people in the organization.
