How do I enable JavaScript on my browser?
You will need to enable JavaScript on your browser to experience all the benefits of XING.
To do so, please follow the steps below:
Internet Explorer (6.0 – 9.0)
- Select 'Tools' from the top menu.
- Choose 'Internet Options'.
- Click on the 'Security' tab.
- Click on 'Custom Level'.
- Scroll down until you see section labled 'Scripting'.
- Under 'Active Scripting', select 'Enable' and click 'OK'.
Mozilla Firefox (1.5 – Current version) – Windows
- Select 'Tools' from the top menu.
- Choose 'Options'.
- Choose 'Content' from the top navigation.
- Select the checkbox next to 'Enable JavaScript' and click OK.
Mozilla Firefox – Mac OS
- Go to the top "Firefox" from the Apple bar at the top of the screen.
- Select "Preferences" in the drop-down menu.
- Select the "Content" icon/tab at the top of the window.
- Then check the "Enable JavaScript" checkbox and click "OK".
Safari (2.0 – Current version)
- Select 'Safari' from the top menu.
- Choose 'Preferences'.
- Choose 'Security'.
- Select the checkbox next to 'Enable JavaScript'.
Chrome (Current version)
- Go to the Chrome menu and select "Customize and control Google Chrome" (the wrench icon in the top right-hand corner).
- Select "Settings" then the "Show advanced settings" link.
- Under "Privacy", click "Content Settings...".
- Go to "JavaScript" tab and choose the option "Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended)".
- Click "OK" and refresh your browser (F5).
