Prepare for the Forum: register now for September’s exclusive virtual round tables
When Peter Drucker was asked to weigh in on a complex problem, he often began with, “Let me be brutally honest...” His listeners might have braced for the thoughts about to be shared - but they always went away uplifted by a better grasp of the challenge. In that spirit, in the run-up to the conference the Drucker Forum is hosting a number of round tables dealing with key aspects of the COVID-transformed world. No silver bullet will suddenly end the pandemic, but life must go on: we must learn to manage in the shadow of the virus. Tough choices will be required—and every player with a platform to communicate or effective approach to model should contribute to an honest and open debate.
Priority access for these events is reserved for Drucker Society members, registered Forum participants and Forum sponsors. Registration for remaining places will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.

The massive shift to digital is a great moment to drive change. But how can we ensure a healthy balance that meets employees' needs and desires without abandoning key elements of business that we may regret later? What must we retain to be able to do business effectively in the future?

Emergn's Digital Product Leaders Council featuring Alex Osterwalder
Please join the Digital Product Leaders Council team at Emergn, with special guest Alex Osterwalder, founder of Strategyzer and one of the world’s most influential innovation experts, for a hands-on virtual session to explore how organizations can strategically measure, guide and diversify their portfolio of existing and potentially new businesses simultaneously.
Good portfolio management entails crafting a balance that proofs it against disruption. In a remote-working world transformed by COVID, where innovation and change can't stand still, it also includes exploring completely new business models of which many will fail, but some produce outsized returns that ensure your future.

Be provoked - shape the debate!
Living with the coronavirus, the second of this season’s #Provocations, is now online. Without, for now, a vaccine to save us, societies must urgently develop collectively agreed principles on how to coexist with COVID19 – managing it with prudence but not fear, optimism but not overconfidence. What do these compromises look like? What do we need leaders to do now – and what should they not do? Please read and tell us what you think. Our blog series #shapethedebate, reflections on the 2020 Drucker Forum theme Leadership Everywhere, continues with Gina Lodge on the shape of leadership in the new world order. As ever, we encourage the community to comment and contribute.
Registration – early bird ends soon
There is still time to take advantage of early bird registration for this year’s Global Peter Drucker Forum, taking place in the Vienna Hofburg on October 29 and 30. Register here.
