BARCELONA PETER DRUCKER SOCIETY |
On June 2nd 2011, the Barcelona Chapter of the Peter Drucker Society officially came into being. This is the starting point for a fruitful journey, and at the same time the outcome of a long period of preparation by a group of 14 people with a solid management track record and a wish to share Peter Drucker's legacy with younger or more junior managers.
The mission of the Barcelona Chapter of the Peter Drucker Society is to be influential, based on our own professional and entrepreneurial experience and responsibilities, in the improvement of management capacities and entrepreneurial values in our environment. We hold a deep conviction that both higher quality management and responsible innovation are the basis of a fair, promising society. Our focus is threefold: 1. Fostering the development of management acumen among undergraduate University students and entrepreneurial values among secondary level students 2. Small scale dissemination among the Society’s members and interested people of best practice in management, innovation and leadership 3. Coaching for managers in schools, associations, small enterprises and institutions, to be personally done by members of the Barcelona Chapter The Barcelona Chapter owes its existence to the strong support and energetic collaboration of the Drucker Society Europe as well as the trust of the Drucker Institute.
